Steps
- 1Run Console Root from Start Menu > Run > MMC.Ad
- 2In the Console Root window, click Console > Add/Remove Snap-in menu.
- 3On the Standalone tab page of the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, click the Add button.
- 4In the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box, select ActiveX Control, and click the Add button.
- 5In the Insert ActiveX Control dialog box, click the Next button.
- 6In the next page of the Insert ActiveX Control dialog box, select a control category and a control type, and click the Next button.
- 7In the next page of the Insert ActiveX Control dialog box, specify a name for the ActiveX control, and click the Finish button.
- 8In the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, click the OK button.
- 9In the Console Root window, click Console > Save As menu.
- 10In the Save As dialog box, specify a name for the console in the File name field, and click the Save button.
- 11Close the Console Root window.
